First and foremost, I began my dream career only within the past year after many setbacks and life situations that acted as hurdles to possibly stop me from getting to where I am, but I have always persevered .
I am the type of person who is always "early" (not "on time") to appointments, meetings, and anywhere I am expected to be no matter the obligation. If "life" happens, I will never leave anyone hanging, and will always make the call in the event of it.
I have always been a reliable individual, pays attention to details, and is not afraid to ask questions. I believe in being the best advocate for ourselves and feel that this job requires someone who is both motivated and eager to learn.
I feel that my set of skills as a CNA of five years alongside the "baby" nurse that I am in emergency services are a great foundation, and I am on board to give it my all if I am given the chance to do so.
I was not always great academically, but I consider myself to be a good student. I am very observant and feel that I catch on very quickly with the right training.
I only stayed at this job for such a short period of time due to an unforeseen sickness that I came down with within my first couple of weeks working there.
I was put out on leave for thirty days in the beginning of April 2018 after a cough broke three ribs, and I was put on light-duty, that which there were no such accommodations at this facility.
This was my very first CNA position where I learned the bulk of skills required to cater to a large group of patients from the start, most of which were patients in extreme pain and required the most loving and care just to perform everyday tasks.
I worked here as an experienced server of over three years at the point of beginning this job, and I stayed as long as I did because it accommodated well for my hours needed to complete full time schooling.
