I am currently a “binner”. This includes stocking two tuggers with needed parts that goes to each assembly line every 30 minutes. Parts range from metal brackets, small screws, motherboards, and all other components needed to make a drinking fountain.
This job is only a temporary role until mid october as they are shutting down a facility of theirs and need help while employees transition to the remaining 2 facilities.
As a stocker I was responsible for stocking, cleaning, and organizing the store. This included unloading incoming trucks, and taking items from pallets to the floor keeping back stock organized in the back, removing empty boxes and making cardboard bales. At night, I cleaned the aisles and bathrooms, took out garbage, and cleaned floors with push broom, floor machine and wax machine.
For my last 6 months of this job I was promoted to keyholder. This role included managing cashiers and office paperwork while management is gone, ensuring stockers and cashiers stay on task, taking cooler temperatures and the other nightly tasks I had as a stocker. I also closed down the store and locked and set the alarm at closing time.
