Talent and Culture Associate

  • Lead recruiter: post jobs on various sites, coordinator for the interview process (phone screens, setting up interviews). Represent the organization at job fairs and sponsored events to recruit and attract talent from diverse backgrounds.
  • Work with leaders of departments to develop and refine job descriptions for new and existing positions, ensure qualifications and responsibilities are up to date, expectations are clear and establish performance metrics for employee success.
  • Perform compensation studies for current and anticipated roles, to ensure fair wages for employees.
  • Collaborated with the VP of Talent and Culture to create the FoundU onboarding course, designed to give new hires a background of the organization, the culture, and their role. Lead the course and on-board new employees.
  • Co-Lead the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) team - responsible for event planning, creating employee resource groups, collaborating with multicultural speakers. Created Internal DEI Calendar to post holidays, history, cultural celebrations, and events in the city of Minneapolis and tracked engagement.
  • Team up with the VP of Talent and Culture and Payroll and Benefits Manager on various projects and tasks: benefits renewal process which involved adding new benefits; collaboration with external partners to develop a Talent and Culture brochure and video; conflict resolution between managers and direct reports, serve as backup for payroll process.
  • Manage the intern process - partner with outside organizations (StepUp, Achieve and Brand Lab) to recruit a diverse pool of young professionals, on-board, serve as a resource.
