With just over 11 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, beginning as an apprentice carpenter at the ripe age of 18, I have been fortunate enough to gain an extensive amount of experience on numerous large scale projects within the San Francisco Bay Area construction industry, as well as a comprehensive understanding of general ground-up and interior build out processes. As a highly self motivated person, I am always looking to take on new challenges both professional and personal, this motivation continues to grow with each and every job site, office, or team that I have the honor of working with. My experience has granted me incredible opportunities to be part of many noteworthy projects, and within those projects, the opportunity to build relationships with an abundance of individuals. Personally, I have found that forming professional relationships, whether from coordinating site work with field laborers, foreman, superintendents and sub contractors, or working with with clients, tenants, engineers, inspectors, and architects, has a far longer lasting effect on an individual compared to the satisfaction of a job well done. The aforementioned relationships, as well as field experience, has allowed me to develop a strong sense of accomplishment, while always maintaining a professional attitude and focusing on consistent, open communication with all parties involved on a project. I am a large proponent of teamwork and leadership, and believe being comfortable having uncomfortable conversations, while still providing constructive support, has proven to aid in driving employees’ professional and personal growth. Focusing on the leadership aspect of construction has allowed me to, with enthusiastic and collaborative assistance from all others involved in a project, be able to recognize, diagnose, and take necessary steps to ensure issues on site are alleviated in a cost-effective and timely manner, as well as communicating the information to all necessary team members. I take serious pride in trying to make intelligent decisions in both my personal and professional lives and as a Union Carpenter, I strive for success in any and all endeavors I may embark on, as well as constant customer and client satisfaction, regardless of project conditions.
