Boiler makers: (echo maintenance)

•Read blueprints to determine locations, positions, and dimensions of boiler parts

•Install small, premade boilers in buildings and manufacturing facilities

•Assemble boiler tanks

•Test and inspect boiler systems for leaks or defects

•Clean vats with scrapers, wire brushes, and cleaning solvents

•Replace or repair broken valves, pipes, or joints, using hand, battery, pneumatic,and power tools, gas torches, welding equipment.

• change out Kelly hoses.

• preform formal procedures

• operate heavy machinery

• routine maintenance for the plant

• clean strainer

• replace air registers for the heaters, and clean burner's

• set pumps, blind off pumps, torquing

•Keeping the work area clean and ensuring tools and equipment are arranged properly

•Helping to load and unload equipment and materials

•Assisting with setting up equipment

•Moving work pieces, tools, and supplies manually or with a hand truck

•Working from ladders and scaffolds

•Assisting machine operators or operating machinery
