Devin Lockwood

Dedicated leader and team player who is eager to learn to excited to try new things. I am always ready to learn work and have my inputs to anything that can be improved. As a petty officer second class in the navy it is my job to be the guide for my junior sailors and also lead them the proper way and to ensure they are taken care of. I am in charge of taking meetings and relaying information pertaining to building bombs, inspecting missiles and rockets, or the general cleanliness and upkeep of our weapons magazines. Leading is a critical rote as a second class. Being able to multi-task work, my personal work goals, the goals of my junior sailors, doing work outside of my title job, planning, and maintaining readiness are all crucial to maintain professionalism and keep out workload on track.

I enjoy interacting with new people and learning about them and being able to help where and when needed. There is no task to hard for me and i always ask questions whenever i do not know the answer. I will do my best to gain knowledge to be completely self-reliant and dependable.

What has helped me gain these attributes were being deployed on an aircraft carrier for five years and going out on six-or-more month deployments and working twelve hours a day seven days a week. This has greatly affected me in a positive way and reinforced my ability to interact, engage, and learn.
