While I was an active duty Marine. I grew to love emergency medicine. Fueled by my passion for helping others and being apart of something bigger then myself. I knew people needed help and I could continue to serve in EMS. Transitioning out of the Corps I attended EMT school. From their I have been in EMS for approximately 4 years. Working for AMR from Seattle to Lewis County. My experience has varied from responding to priority 911 and IFT transports. To being apart of the covid response team. Triaging patients and citizens at SeaTac airport. Currently still a CWU student working on my bachelors degree.
I was active duty in the USMC for 4 years 4 months. I got off active duty as an Corporal E-4. I built unwithering leadership skills as I was in charge of Marines under me, in the MOS 0311 Rifleman. I did not have the typical Infantry career in the Corps. I deployed twice, one to the middle east and south east asia. Participating in Operation Inherent Resolve (Classified). As well on Joint Taskforce North. Participating in anti trafficking operations. Both drugs and human. I left active duty with an Honorable Discharge. In pursuit of becoming a EMT then eventually a Paramedic. Some examples of skills and task I did.
