Summary

High energy work ethic with a desire to see a job through to the end in the most efficient way possible. Innate ability to learn any system with minimal on the job training. Worked every shift, weekends, holidays, etc. The normal constraints of a 9-5 do not apply. Performs exceptionally as a member or supervisor of a team. Willing to start work as soon as possible. Any and all considerations are appreciated. Looking forward to rejoining the workforce as a civilian.

Technician (November, 2013 - August, 2023):

Preventative and corrective maintenance of macro and micro electronics, synchro/servo mechanical operations, and 400 Hz, 450VAC highly regulated three phase power conversion. Experience in AC and DC circuitry, power tools, electrical test equipment, and general labor.

Management (September, 2018 - September, 2020):

Supervisor of 40 Sailors in the maintenance and operation of the entire Aegis suite. Qualified Combat Systems Coordinator, a Commanding Officer designated position responsible for the management of all onboard combat systems.

Member of a firing team responsible for testing prototype Navy standard surface to air missiles prior to their implementation into the fleet while stationed in White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.

Aegis Fire Controlman

1) Aegis MK 99 Fire Control System Technician:

  • Subject Matter Expert of a United States Naval destroyer's primary self defense system, encompassing the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of micro and macro electronics down to the component and circuit level, synchro/servo, and mechanical maintenance such as transmissions, lubrication, wiring, etc.


2) 400 Hz Power Converter Technician:

  • Subject Matter Expert in the corrective and preventative maintenance of a United States Naval destroyer's onboard 400 Hz, 450VAC, 3 phase, highly regulated power converter responsible for powering all weapon's systems. This included rectification and inversion modules, close-looped demineralized water cooling, tag-out procedures, and energized equipment of both AC and DC circuitry.


3) Combat Systems Coordinator:

  • The United States Naval Destroyer's Commanding Officer's designated official directly responsible for the tactical and technical coordination of onboard maintenance and operation of every onboard weapon system. Able to coordinate multiple projects to achieve the most efficient results. An asset to any team.


4) Division Leading Petty Officer:

  • Expert managerial skills. Led 40 personnel on-board a United States Naval Destroyer in the preventative and corrective maintenance and operation of all Aegis Weapons Systems. Empathetic with workers, yet decisive in the execution of whatever job is necessary. Natural leader and decision maker with strong interpersonal skills.
