Work History

Sushi roller/shift lead

Sushi Freak
  • My main responsibilities as a sushi roller was taking customer’s orders in a timely and friendly fashion. After taking their orders, I would proceed to make their order swiftly and without mistake. In addition, I would prepare the food used to craft our orders, making sure the prepared ingredients exceeded quality standards for our customers.
  • As shift lead I would be in charge of a crew up to four, making sure my employees were making orders up to expectation and ensuring good customer service from them during the ordering and preparing process. If any customers had issues or questions, my employees directed the customer to me and I would answer the question and/or resolve their issue. Lastly as a shift lead, I was in charge of opening and closing the store. My shift would begin early in the morning to unlock the door, turn off the alarm, count the cash drawer and proceed with my opening duties. When closing, my duties included doing a walk of the store, ensuring my employees properly completed their checklists before they left and that the store was clean. Following that, I would then count the cash drawer, set the alarm and lock the door before leaving for the night.
  • Reason for leaving: Harassment that was not being taken care of properly by my employer
