  • Electro-conducive Nerve Scaffold Capstone Project

Researched and developed novel medical device concept to help patients with fully severed nerves. Developed business and technical models for the device, as well as research customer specifications. Kept diligent notes regarding the project, developed tests for prototyping, researched market for device usability.

  • Biomedical Instrumentation

Programmed using LabView and developed a wearable device with a team, to act as a computer mouse without the need for the use of a patient's hands, using force sensors and accelerometers. Tested and developed system, delivering a usable product satisfying all patient needs.

Constructed and prototyped a prosthetic device for amputees using LabView and Arduino. Designed to improve quality of life of amputees in the task of grabbing and releasing objects comfortably and easily while maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset.

Implemented Arduino code to program an autonomous robot, that performed tasks, such as following a line using lidar technology, as well navigating around objects.

  • Product Development and Design Project

Employed an entrepreneurial mindset and teamwork skills to create a concept and budget for a wearable sensor technology to assist patients with Alzheimer's Disease. Investigated multiple concepts to develop a product that met all the criteria of the consumer.
