  • Plan, execute and manage daily operations of custodial department comprised of 2 supervisors, 1 admin and 80 custodians within 12 schools in 1.4M square foot school district
  • Create and finalize annual budget of $5.6 million for department's needs including project work, minor maintenance estimated costs and equipment purchases for both Aramark and district
  • Manage additional RFP contractual duties such as: groundskeeping (weeding, weed whacking, lawn mowing, snow removal, salting), minor maintenance and event management within schools
  • Maintain compliance records regarding quarterly PMs on unit ventilators filter changes, monthly fire extinguisher logs and emergency lights, SDS and Right to Know inspections, and boiler logs
  • Conduct monthly facilities meetings with principals and Building and Grounds Manager to review status of facilities services being provided at schools which includes work order statuses and custodial department review
  • Coordinate with each principal to create summer clean plan for their building to get school ready for upcoming school year that entails cleaning, floors projects, furniture moves and setups, while working around major construction projects and summer programs

  • Perform all HR department roles at account which consists of payroll, worker's compensation claims, FMLA leave, conflict resolutions among staff, as well as addressing union concerns such as grievances/arbitrations
