As a HealthShare Integrations Engineer at Ready it is my responsibility to create, design, and implement data integration solutions, for the Department of Veterans Affairs, as they transition to Cerner EHR, affecting over 1,200 facilities and over 9 million veterans across the transition to Cerner EHR, affecting over 1,200 facilities and over 9 million veterans across the transition to Cerner EHR, affecting over 1,200 facilities and over 9 million veterans across the United States.

Integrated diverse internal/external systems, networks, and servers for all of Atrium Health, impacting over 70,000 employees using Ensemble (HealthShare Health Connect) for EPIC and Cerner systems.

Collaborate with team members, and solve highly complex technical data communication and transformation issues.

• Develop data translation objects and data processing flow using MIRTH interface engine
• Build interfaces using Microsoft SQL directly into the Aprima EHR system
• Work independently to coordinate and solve highly complex technical data communication and transformation issues
• Design, test, implement, and manipulate data for successful interface connectivity
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to data transformation and message flow
• Analyze customer HL7 specifications and provide the correct formats
• Create documentation for future reference, training and support purposes
• Provide clients or internal teams with support on interface issues
• Assist others in development
• Communicate with vendors to clarify data format requirements and specifications
• Coordinate testing phase with vendors to make sure interface successfully complies
• Facilitate client training on the use of their successfully built interface between vendors.
