I have 18 years of great customer service skills, often my co-workers would seek myself out if there was an issue with a customer or work related task that needed assistance or clarification of standards. I was the one to offer assistance and training when needed.
In June of 2023 I decided to make a change within The Home Depot to the warehouse side of the company. I was looking for change for my personal growth in leadership and have always been on the store side of retail thought lets give the Reverse Logistics Center a try. I have grown in the last 2 years with knowledge of the inner workings of a RLC. Taking on different roles such as Universal Associate Coordinator, Associate Fun Committee, and part of the leadership planning committee for building meetings once a month creating a fun environment to give associate's building updates.
I started at The Home Depot in May of 2015. Starting as a part time cashier. I was promoted to the special services desk. There I learn the department quickly, and my attention to detail and problem solving skills was well noticed and recognized. I promoted to Dept. Supervisor of Special Services desk & Deliveries. I was promoted to key-carrying department supervisor for 4 years. In August 2021 moved to department supervisor of Garden. I then soon after took my RMA test in Oct of 2021 and was promoted to OASM in November of 2021 at store 0406 and took on the role of Operations Assistant Store manager.
Role as OASM some of my duties are:
Lowe's Home Improvement - Phoenix, Az Excelled as a Head Cashier with Department Manager duties. Fully trained with Genesis cash register/inventory operating systems. I used VeriBalance software while Bookkeeping. I used Kronos for scheduling. While a Pricing Coordinator I used the LRT scan gun for inventory audits and label making. As Internet Captain, I scheduled product deliveries and pick ups. I was trained in all areas of the store and was relied upon to help wherever needed. I took pride in myself on my calm demeanor in every situation and my ability to solve all problems in front of me.
Uhaul Co. - Phoenix, AZ I dealt with high inbound call volume while using Cisco Any Connect software. First Class software was used for email and instant messages. I gave great customer service to all callers while sizing trucks needed and scheduling pick up and drop offs. I often had to multi-task while on the phone with customers by comparing competitor's rates while instant messaging surrounding stores. All to ensure I was able to accommodate the customer's needs. My call times and completion percentages were always amongst the top of my group of 75-100 sales reps.
Fry's Food & Drug - Phoenix, AZ I quickly moved from Cashier to Bookkeeping due to my work ethic, accuracy and reliability. While Bookkeeping I used One Touch Accounting. My role doubled as a front end manager. I worked with scheduling, large money pulls, register auditing and manning the Customer Service desk with check cashing money gram and western union money transfers.
