Accomplishments

  • Developed a Wealth Building program seeing the need to educate minorities on money management, launched the program in 2017, taught over 250 participants
  • Developed a program called Successful Transitions to help people who currently receive government assistance (Food stamps, Medicaid, etc.) and are transitioning into fulltime employment to gain the financial management skills to be able to sustain their household and to also have emergency savings, and Self-Sustainability, 5 cycles, 107 participants so far
  • Developed a Real Estate Apprenticeship Program for minorities living in low wealth communities to be able to start a career in the Real Estate field without the barriers (financial, transportation, childcare, etc.) to success, 74 participants, 7 cycles
  • Developed, organized, promoted, recruited, implemented and managed a youth program to educate 66 youth about the environment and issues that affect water quality
  • Recruited 135 youth and their parents for Positive Changes’ College Readiness Program
  • Raised $200,000 to support Positive Changes’ annual seven (7) day six (6) night College Exploration trip for 6 years
