Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Provides direct instruction to students for 1 - 30 percent of the instructional day as outlined in the school’s Single Plan for Student Achievement. 2. Implements District procedures for placing, evaluating, monitoring, and exiting eligible students if site is a Target Assisted program. (Schoolwide programs will not maintain these lists.) 3. Participates as an advocate on the Student Success Team/Family Support Team for eligible students. (At the direction of the principal, the program facilitator may have the responsibility of organizing and running the SST/FST Team.) 4. Coordinates/provides staff development as related to the core/base program to support student achievement of District-established expectations. 5. Models effective practices for the transfer of training to the classroom (i.e., planning, presenting, and coaching.) 6. Plans and implements a parent education program. 7. Organizes required parent councils and committees (SSC, SAC, BLAC). 8. Evaluates, identifies, and selects appropriate materials for use by eligible students.

Plan, prepare for and deliver instructional activities to facilitate learning experiences. 5. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources to support independent learning. 6. Identify and implement instructional strategies and resources to meet students’ varying needs. 7. Engage students in academic conversations that elicit critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. 8. Connect instruction to real-world experiences and students’ post-secondary goals. 9. Regularly check for understanding and provide clarifying and/or enrichment information. 10.
