• As a Sales and Administrative Representative for Blinds companies, my role involved various responsibilities:
• SALES MANAGEMENT:
Receive merchandise requirements, generate proforma invoices, process purchase orders and coordinate local shipping and billing. I also follow up on the collection process and provide support in cases of import of merchandise with the customs agent.
• MERCHANDISING PROCESS: I collaborate in the coordination of the installation of displays and organization of products. I visit more than 10 stores per day to provide after-sales service, organizing products and replacing damaged samples. Additionally, I provided information about the competition in the assigned markets and support in in-store training. I send status reports for each market.
• ACCOUNTING/ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS: I manage the cash closing and issue the closing report of the fiscal machine. I receive, distribute and present relevant documentation. I prepare accounting documentation and help the Finance Manager in the control and payment of services, expenses, payroll and taxes. I maintain updated tax records and necessary legal documentation. I review and prepare invoices from suppliers and services for payment. I generate monthly sales statistics for the store and reconcile sales made with debit or credit cards versus bank transactions. I send monthly account statements to chains in Panama and follow up on collections. I am responsible for inventory control in the store and coordinate the taking of inventory in the storage center located in the Colón Free Zone, Panama.
My role as a Sales and Administrative Representative covers various functions, from sales management and merchandising support to accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the proper functioning and success of the company.
