Designed a Capstone Project around machine learning to gain experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, training pipelines, and performance validation. Chose complex, data-driven work instead of simpler software topics to build real, independent capability in machine learning practice. I dedicated a recent academic period to strengthening my preparation for graduate-level study in data science and machine learning through focused coursework, self-directed study, and applied coding work.
