Experienced Technical Architect with extensive background in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Transport Management System (TMS) product design and development. 20+ years in leading and developing scalable, cloud-based solutions using Java, J2EE, and SQL technologies.
Currently serving as Senior Principal Software Engineer at Infor Nexus, specializing in architecture design, performance optimization, data modeling, and leading cross-functional product development teams.
Provider API & Live Tracking Initiative
Architected and developed the first-ever shipment tracking capability with REST API-based solution for real-time milestone events from carriers and telemetric providers. Integrated IoT for live visibility across Ocean, Road, Sensor, and Air transportation modes using Google Maps and geofencing.
Predictive ETA System
The Predictive ETA project utilizes extensive data available within the Infor Nexus application to apply machine-learning algorithms for generating real-time estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) for shipments. This initiative enhances the visibility of shipment progress for customers, allowing them to track their shipments more effectively and identify potential delays or issues with the arrival of goods at their distribution centers.
SCV Event Broker
Developed a complex, high-volume event-driven data processing system capable of handling millions of events daily, serving as the backbone of SCV architecture with reliable data flow to downstream systems.
Milestone
Highly used functionality in SCV. Milestone Events are being received from various message sources like 315 EDI, 214, UI, API from 3PLs, Carriers and gets mapped and posted to Shipment based on matching keys. This is one of the high data intensive projects where millions of events get processed everyday across 500+ customers and outbound notifications are being sent to customers and 3PLs.
TMS Tendering System
Implemented transport management solution for truck mode shipments including sequential and broadcast tendering to carriers, reducing transportation costs and improving efficiency.
