I am a first-year student at The Ohio State University. I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering on a pre-medicine track. In addition to schoolwork, I like to be involved in extracurriculars that integrate medicine aspects and fundamentals of engineering. This year I am looking for internship opportunities that will enhance my knowledge regarding engineering groundwork, overall interpersonal skills, technical skills, leadership, and problem solving. Because I am pursuing an education in engineering, I feel it is imperative to be fluent in these abilities.

  • As an intern, I had exposure to the patient services application which helped me understand the overall business with respect to products that AbbVie manufactures, patient services, insurance, and pharmacies
  • AbbVie's patient services illustrated how many people were taking a certain type of drug, the criteria for a patient to be assigned to an unbranded or branded drug and how the company adjusts its marketing strategy
  • I was closely involved with the business teams to gather requirements for IT teams to build products
