Accenture Capstone Project
During this 8-week program, I was tasked to develop a virtual, interactive simulation. I developed a Java project as a text-based virtual pet simulation game, where users interact with a pet through a console interface. Players manage the pet's needs and status by making decisions that affect attributes such as hunger, thirst, age, and bladder. The game features dynamic responses based on user actions, including feeding, providing drinks, playing, sleeping, and using the bathroom. It includes interactive gameplay with continuous loops and conditional statements, showcasing fundamental concepts of Java programming like object-oriented design and user input handling. Improper care can lead to the pet's virtual demise, adding a layer of challenge and engagement to the simulation.
