Throughout my years working I have gained more experience and knowledge working as a Laboratory Technician in potato processing plants than any other work field. I have really enjoyed working in this field. I believe that the skills and experience that I have acquired working as a Lab Tech along with the knowledge I gained in college with my science and biology classes, have given me qualities and abilities to succeed in this position. I also worked as a Lab Technician at SGL Carbon Group where I tested the strength, density and elongation of their carbon fiber product. During my employment at SGL I also gained more experience working with Microsoft Excel, Data input, communication with engineers, operators and supervisors through email, and managing informational records about all work performed. Working as a CNA has also given me qualities and skills that would also be useful in this position. As a CNA I did similar things as a Lab Tech, for example; testing, operating, calibrating and observing carefully. I also worked monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms for one year at Samaritan Hospital. I would love the opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience as a LabTech by working in this position.
