• Inspect T-6 and T-44 naval trainer planes preflight and post flight to include Daily and turn around inspections. Documenting any deficiencies found on provided forms.
• Refueling both platforms within accordance to Naval and DynCorp guidelines/SOP.
• Launching, marshaling, and recovering of both platforms with the use of hand signals and signal equipment.
• Daily inspection and use of ground equipment such as Hobart’s, oxygen carts, and tire inflator kits. Basic aviation guidelines involving FOD and tool control and safety.
• Maintained Avionics support on CH-47F MYI & II platforms, as well as UH/HH60s. Utilizing test equipment to load software, troubleshoot and isolate faults, repair wire bundles, modification and installation of new equipment.
• Worked as Avionics support for the transport of all aircraft departing and arriving on sea transport to and from Texas to Germany. Operated as a team removing appropriate antennas and equipment to better suit the transport of the aircraft, than reinstalling upon arrival.
• Repaired, Bench tested, and inspected Avionics Components, ranging from search light assemblies, flight control assemblies, communication RT’s, IFF RTs, and APR-39 systems.
• Utilized varieties of NAV/COMM, Pitot and Static, indication test sets to troubleshoot and isolate system faults and failure.
• Experience of a wide range of unscheduled Aircraft maintenance and electrical/avionics repair in a fast-paced hangar with over 30 different aircraft including wire maintenance and ICS manufacturing, and Soldering.
