I retired from my career in social work to open Casa de Mosaic a non-proft for adults with autism. Helix High School is my Alma Mater. It is through opportunities available to me while at Helix and the caring support of school counselors that I was able to attend college, despite the many adverse risk factors in my life. I am in a position to give back and to assist students who are struggling academically, by looking at the whole student as often there may be home struggles that are impacting the students academic potential.
