Lecture Instruction
· Deliver engaging, evidence-based lectures in assigned dental hygiene courses (e.g., Dental Nutrition, Community Dentistry, Dental Materials, Radiology, etc.).
· Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that align with program learning outcomes and Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) standards.
· Incorporate active learning strategies, case studies, and critical thinking activities.
· Maintain current knowledge of trends and advancements in dental hygiene, nutrition, and oral health education.
Clinical Instruction
· Supervise students in the dental hygiene clinic, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
· Demonstrate clinical procedures and provide individualized guidance to students.
· Evaluate student performance in clinical competencies, professionalism, and patient management.
