Provide one-to-one ABA therapy sessions with clients in home, school, or clinic settings.
Teach communication, social, academic, daily living, and adaptive skills.
Implement behavior reduction and replacement behavior programs.
Collect accurate data on behaviors, skill acquisition, and treatment goals during sessions.
Use reinforcement strategies and prompting procedures according to treatment plans.
Assist clients in following routines, transitions, and daily activities.
Support clients in improving functional communication and social interactions.
Implement antecedent and consequence interventions to address maladaptive behaviors.
Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Collaborate with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals involved in treatment.
Document session notes and progress reports accurately and professionally.
Follow ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards established by the BACB and employer.
Participate in supervision meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
Monitor client progress and communicate concerns or significant changes to the supervising BCBA.
Supervise and ensure the safety of children in the daycare setting at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development.
Assist children with daily routines such as meals, hygiene, and nap time.
Maintain a clean, organized, and structured classroom environment.
Encourage positive behavior and teach appropriate social skills.
Provide individual and group instruction through play-based learning activities.
Monitor children during indoor and outdoor activities.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and daily activities.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom routines and student needs.
Follow daycare policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.
Prepare learning materials and classroom activities to promote participation and engagement.
Assist children in following directions, sharing, taking turns, and interacting with peers appropriately.
