  • Reporting directly to the SVP of Facilities Management and Real Estate, responsible for the management of all real estate transactions for the Hackensack Meridian Health network of 18 hospitals, including the acquisition and disposal of properties, negotiate all contracts with in house and outside counsel, retain outside vendors such as appraisers, brokers to assist in the process, oversee property management personnel of ambulatory properties, all facilities planning, design and construction activities
  • Responsible for developing the real estate strategy for the network in collaboration with various network stakeholders such as Strategy, Business Development and the Hospital and Physician Enterprise leadership teams
  • Responsible to lead the Real Estate and Facilities team to successful implementation of the strategy
  • Lead the lease administration team and finance team to ensure leases are being administered properly and payments are accurate and paid timely
  • Lead the team in the multi phased process of selecting locations for new ambulatory projects, negotiation of the leases, engagement of the architectural and construction firms to the successful completion of each project
  • Responsible for the development of each team member to grow and enhance their skills and develop, in collaboration with each team member, new processes and procedures to create more efficient processes
