As Records Management and Information Specialist, I serve as an advisor to upper management
Analyze information and recommend resources to evaluate individual operations and functions for the purpose of ascertaining improvement, efficiency, effectiveness, and recommendation of better management goals
Gather information from Special Agents from other field offices of what needs to be scanned
Then analyze the information to provide advice to the Special Agents, AUSAs and all other internal and external customers
Manage and correlate large volumes of complex workloads regarding evidence collected from search warrants
Coordinate the shipment and unpacking large volume of evidence from the field offices once it is received in our evidence control room
Take a box inventory of what was received, then accept the transfer of evidence in Sentinel
Perform a internal box inventory of each box received, setup the job in the DCMS system and provide barcodes for each scan unit so the preppers can merry up the barcodes with the paper and can be scanned in to the system for digital output
Once everything is scanned, MQA’d and verified all output formats are completed
I then provide the Special Agents with digital output .txt, .tiff, SPDF, BPDF, OCRTEXT, IMAGE, TEXT-IMAGE, Relativity, Concordance and Cumulative load files so they have all the files outputs they may need
Provide all digital output on DVDs, CD, hard drives, and thumb drives to all customers once the data is complete for easy searching
Pack up the boxes seal, sign and palletize the evidence to be shipped back the field office evidence control room
Once I have the 0-4 from the mailroom with the FEDEX shipping number I can transfer the evidence back to the field office in sentinel so they can accept it back
Talk the customer through any questions they may have after receiving the data back or even talk to the AUSA if they have any questions
Managed a tiger team to assist getting out several of our jobs that weren’t moving as fast as they should have and get them back to the customer
Provided a excel data report to keep track of the issues with our new system data base
Provide advice to senior management regarding changes to the Division’s business processes to enhance customer service in the Management and Logistics Unit
Written multiple standard operation procedures and trained new employees
I can effectively express ideas orally, and persuasively guide customers and management on program directives and address problem areas to offer solutions
Serve as an expert in the analysis and evaluation of specific digital programs and provide solutions for any issues
Responsible for independently managing, planning, scheduling, and carrying out major projects from the field and/or in house
Coordinate TDY teams to the field offices to assist Special Agents with their cases and providing the Special Agents with digital output for searchable data
