MVC Cardiology is part of the Lowell General, Tufts Medicine organization. I began working in the outpatient clinic soon after I became employed in the hospital setting in 2010. I have continued to serve as a per diem employee despite no longer employed in the acute care setting of Lowell General Hospital.

Summary of Job Responsibilities at Lowell General Hospital where I spent the majority of my career :

Maintained and ensured IAC accreditation.

Developed and managed an online, cloud-based staff schedule for accessibility.

Managed staff schedules for the cardiology department, ensuring adequate staffing for echo and EKG departments.

Collaborated with per diem staff for two campuses to maintain 7-day per week staffing.

Responsible for outpatient templates, aligning them with the daily staff schedule.

Organized continuing education for sonographers and cardiologists.

Played a key role in transitioning from Cerner to the EPIC medical record system, serving as a super user.

Wrote, reviewed, and updated echo policies and procedures.

Collaborated with clinical RN manager and director to uphold best practices.

Conducted quarterly quality assurance meetings, working closely with the echo medical director to set agendas and disseminate minutes to staff members.
