Summary

I started at LAS St John's as a certified aide in January 2000, from there I was able to completed LPN school while working night turn for St. John's. I've worked directly with dementia patients throughout my time. At times I've worked the sub acute unit, basic nursing units. I work directly with the MD's, CRNP's throughout, in direct care of medication/treatment orders, notifying families of all status changes. Performing all Medication administration/treatments as ordered in an organized, multitasking abilities. Communicating directly with Pharmacy on medication changes, LOA's, soft discharges. I've attended care plan meetings to ensure the residents and families are receiving their needs, addressing their concerns.

I'm a mentor to all new staff, ensure understanding of the current module MAR/TAR, and processes. I perform these duties on and off the unit, and in IT. I work directly with all PT/OT/ST/hospice to ensure quality of life for all residents.
