• Working with a diverse caseload at citywide schools. Utilizing NDT and SI treatment techniques when appropriate. Work cooperatively with teachers, psychologists, physical therapists, and speech pathologists to develop appropriate goals for the IEP. Consults with classroom staff on various classroom activities and strategies to increase students' classroom performance. Complete initial evaluations for students entering the district to determine their special education service needs. Supervise Level I and Level II students.

Occupational Therapy Supervisor (Jan 1995 - Sept 1998):

Responsible for a full pediatric caseload with various diagnoses and ages. Supervision of the Occupational Therapy Department and outpatient clinic. Duties included annual performance appraisals, staff recruitment, caseload assignment, staff orientation, student coordination, scheduling in-services, department productivity, and maintenance of therapy supplies and equipment.

Staff Occupational Therapist (Oct 1991 - Jan 1995): Developed and carried out treatment for pediatric clients with varied diagnoses. Utilized diverse treatment techniques. Heavy emphasis on team collaboration, co-treatments, and parent education. Completed clear and concise documentation in a timely fashion. Supervised students and volunteers.

• Developed and carried out treatment for pediatric clients, from birth to three. Gained experience in diverse treatment techniques. Demonstrated proficiency in observation and assessment skills, using a variety of evaluation tools. Involved in parent education and monitored home programs. Worked well with the interdisciplinary team.
