Summary

I am a nursing assistant with a strong focus on direct care and care of patients in delicate conditions, such as hospice, dementia, and Alzheimer's. I studied Medicine in Cuba for 5 years and I am studying Nursing in Puerto Rico, but I live in the US, which has allowed me to combine a deep academic training with a direct and enriching practice in the field of health.

My experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has allowed me to develop key skills in managing patients with chronic and terminal illnesses, providing comprehensive care that includes not only medical follow-up, but also a strong component of emotional and psychological support. In addition, I have clinical knowledge and great empathy to deal with people who require constant care, such as those with dementia, Alzheimer's, pressure ulcers, psychiatric disorders, Foley.

My goal is to continue growing as a health professional, contributing to the well-being of patients through compassionate and professional care. I am committed to continuous learning and improving my clinical skills, with the goal of continuing to positively impact the lives of my patients and their families. I look for opportunities to apply my knowledge and experience in a work environment where I can contribute both in daily care and in improving care processes.
