Work History
Engineering Intern
NeuraLog & NeuraLabel
Houston, USA
06.2025 - 08.2025
As a summer intern at NeuraLog and NEURALABEL, I was immersed in a multidisciplinary environment that combined software development, hardware engineering, and data science for the oil and gas industry. My role involved supporting both product development and research initiatives aimed at improving well log digitization and industrial printing systems.
Data Digitization: Converted analog well log records into digital formats using NeuraLog's proprietary software, performing quality control checks and gaining insights into geological data structure and interpretation.
Hardware Development: Supported engineering team in testing and refining NeuraLog's hardware products, including small-format continuous-form well log scanners, truck-mounted printers, and NEURALABEL's high-volume industrial printing systems.
AI Development Support: Contributed to early-stage AI projects to automate data management workflows, testing algorithms and providing actionable feedback on model performance.
Petrophysical Analysis: Gained exposure to petrophysics by studying how well logs are used to evaluate subsurface formations, including basic interpretation techniques.
Documentation & Collaboration: Participated in team meetings, documented technical issues, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to improve product usability and performance.
Practical experience with digitization tools, AI workflows, and hardware-software integration.
Gained insight into how data science and engineering intersect in real-world industrial applications.
