- Responsible for operating, maintaining and overhauling the Facility's industrial mechanical and electrical equipment related to large stationary diesel-ignited/spark-ignited engine driven blowers and/or power generators, gas compressors and gas storage such as commonly found in municipal power plants, natural gas pipeline compressor stations and large marine propulsion systems.

- Performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on Facility equipment. Providing 24/7 staffing and typically assigned to rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Preventive maintenance and inspections of all equipment in the Power and Air (P&A) section. (Gas compressors, cooling towers, fire tube Boilers, Recirculating Chillers, Tertiary blowers, Emergency generators, Stationary engines, Natural gas generators, Cogeneration generators and more.)

- Use precision measuring tools, granite table, non-destructive testing, Prussian blue, polishing stones, fitting bearings to shafts.

- Various welding disciplines (such as arc, tig, mig) as well as oxy-acetylene and plasma/carbon arc cutting.

- Fabricate specialty tools, obsolete engine parts, and fixtures.

- Operate bridge cranes, chain falls, lever hoists and all associated rigging.

- Interpret drawings, service manuals and parts manuals.

- Operate seat grinder, valve grinder, drill press, band saw, vertical mill, engine lathe, iron worker, sheet metal brake and surface grinder as well as forklift and man lift.

- Repair and inspect of low and high pressure-piping systems.

- Work with other facility personnel and maintain proper communication throughout team jobs.

- Attend all safety trainings.

• Perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, brazing and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
• Familiar with Honeywell, Seimens, Mitsubishi, Cummins, CAT, generators, peterbilt, spartan, oshkosh, kubota, john deer, Jacobsen, John Rude, Paccar, Industrial equipment, allison, emergency service equipment and more
• Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, gasoline engines, and propane engines, Natural gas engines, Mixed gas engines, pneumatic, hydraulic, and water/plumbing on vehicles and in stationary locations
• Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
• Perform repairs and communicate with staff
• Complete shop paperwork, parts paper work, and proper communication
• Maintain a clean and safe work area along with maintaining hazmat within facility.

• Maintain/repair air compressor system for facility.
• Maintain/repair waste oil system for facility.
• Small appliance refrigeration repair.
• Mechanical Repair ( Engine overhauls, transmission overhauls, Oil delivery system work, Intermediate shaft bearing repairs, fuel systems and further drive train).
• Mechanical Maintenance ( Annual services, 30,60,90,120k services, inspections and prioritizing repairs, pre track prep and inspections, Preventative Maintenance).
• Electrical Repair ( shorts, rodent repairs, heat repairs, water damage repairs, troubleshoot/diag).

• Serviced, repaired and troubleshooting with heated paint booths.
• Troubleshoot, Perform maintenance, Repair, Multiple air compressor systems throughout the facility.
• Repair on RV furnaces, Water pumping systems, hvac systems, and refrigeration systems
• Maintained facility and tools within facility

• Maintain, repair, diagnose the following equipments.
• Kitchen commercial dish washers within facility
• Commercial vacuums and supply fans
• Commercial walk in freezers and fridges
• Commercial ventilation systems
• Boilers and air handlers
• Irrigation systems throughout the facility
• Lighting systems within the western side of the facility
