Research

• Currently working on manipulating exosome secretion with small molecule drug intervention in an NIH funded lab at SCU. Cell culturing skills are involved along with luciferase assay readouts and confocal microscopy imaging. Presented work at a Senior Design Conference in May and the presentation won the session.
• Also at SCU, worked on the management and optimization of an E. coli bacterial culture which is genetically engineered to break down urea, with the research meant to support optimization of the culture and the induction

Projects

• Created two summarizing posters meant to analyze lab work done on CRISPR and GFP Cloning and Expression
• Over two academic quarters, experimentally recreated a Biosimilar to the Fusion Protein drug Enbrel, which was able to successfully yield product
