Conducted qualitative ethnographic research on migration, intergenerational aspiration, and Mexican American identity. Used semi-structured interviews and photo elicitation to examine how family stories, photographs, language practices, and transnational communication shape children’s understandings of sacrifice, belonging, and a “better life.”
