Second year student at the University of Maryland double majoring in Applied Physics & Astronomy. Operates well in both individual and team capacities. Very hardworking and highly motivated with an eagerness to lend combined knowledge and skills to enhance research and industrial performance. Reliable worker with excellent communication, time management, and creative thinking.
- Working with a team of Undergraduate Students under Dr. Brian Beaudoin on constructing models and creating a new linear accelerator in the Institute of Research in Electrical Engineering & Applied Physics.
-Used SolidWorks to 3D design tools that would be used in the new laboratory.
- Research design ideas and create parameters regarding beam dump that will be used in the new laboratory.
- Demonstrated exceptional time management skills while balancing multiple tasks including coursework, part-time employment, extracurricular activities alongside research responsibilities.
- Lessons in Math and Physics including Electricity & Magnetism, Quantum Mechanics, Calculus 1-3.
- Lessons on Soldering on PCB's and Wires.
- Lessons on Python
- Research for linear accelerator project in IREAP under Dr. Brian Beaudoin. 3D Designed Quadrupole magnet for this project and learned the basics of particle accelerator physics. Now researching and designing the beam trap for the accelerator in order to ensure safety precautions.
