- Between October 2021 and May 2022, I was a general Opthalmic Technician, in this position I mastered high quality patient care where I had to multitask everyday. Like documenting on patient charts while preparing them for the clinic.
- Simultaneously I had to focus on a Physicians’ schedule and ensure that they were seeing other patients in a timely and efficient manner. As well as facilitating any extra task that they needed to complete.
- From June 2022 to September 2023, I became a Clinical Trainer, I was able to step into this role because of the expertise I had acquired as a technician.
- I trained a total of 25 technicians, 13 of which have continued to thrive in this company. All in the basics of clinical needs and specialized medical knowledge.
- From October 2023 to October 2025, I held the position of Clinical Supervisor; this role was to essentially function as an office manager.
- I facilitated the needs of ordering supplies and medications, managing technician schedules, and coordinating the care of hundreds of patients everyday. This enabled me to fine tune my pattern recognition and being able to remember individual routines and specific demands as well as predict when supplies would be needed.
- From October 2025 to the present day, I have been a research assistant.
- Here I have continued to improve on my skills and greater practice my abilities in patient care and coordinating information between various parties, which are all aspects of customer services.
- Ensuring not only that the requirements of my employer are met but that both patients and research sponsors feel that a high quality service is provided.
