I have a master’s degree in Defense, Security, conflicts and disaster Management. I'm Currently Operations Associate within UNMAS Operations Section since October 2018. I joined UNMAS/SOMALIA in April 2018 as Operations Assistant with UNMAS Operations Section/FHQs. Before joining UNMAS/Somalia I was Multinational Sector Kismayu Military Chief of Staff and have more than 26 years of Military experience at the level of Officer. I have been working with UNMAS/Mali as a Convoy Planning Advisor of MINUSMA Forces in 2015. I’m a planning officer with more than 10 years of strategic and operational planning. I am researcher on collective Defense and Security issues in Africa and expert in conflicts and disaster management. I have been a visiting Lecture at University “Lumière de Bujumbura” in Political Science and International Relations Department. I have been in Somalia under AMISOM since the beginning of the mission in 2007 when I was Operations and Training Officer (OPTO) in the 1st BNDF Contingent and have more than 04 years of deployment in SOMALIA.
