The key responsibility of my job is to ensure the well-being of the patients assigned on our floor (3w Ortho), with particular attention to the bed-bound, dependent, post-operative patients. Usually, the patient in our ortho unit suffer significant pain caused by bone fracture or dislocation, therefore my duty is to help reduce their pain. To do this, I will make sure their call lights are answered immediately when they request for pain medication or nerve blockers.
