Dillon Burk

I am currently employed with the Tallahassee Police Department as a Field Training Officer, where I train and evaluate new officers while ensuring they meet departmental standards and perform effectively in the field. I have been with the department since 2023. Prior to this role, I served as a Police Officer with the Gwinnett County Police Department from August 2018 to November 2023. I began in patrol before being assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division, where I investigated burglaries, robberies, and aggravated assaults, and later served on the Criminal Response Team. In these roles, I prepared and executed search warrants for residences, vehicles, and cell phones.

Before entering law enforcement, I served on active duty in the United States Navy, stationed in San Diego, California, and assigned to Naval Special Warfare, where I developed strong discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills. Earlier in my career, I worked for Four Entertainment Group (4EG) in Cincinnati, Ohio, in roles including security, barback, and bartender, along with additional positions in fitness facilities, car wash services, pedicab operations, and pizza delivery. I also completed two years of college, where I competed in football and wrestling at the collegiate level.
