Proven at Montgomery Water Works, I excelled in utility management and team collaboration, passing a grade 2 water treatment exam and earning a class A CDL. My expertise spans equipment maintenance and fostering a productive work environment, showcasing my commitment to quality and continuous learning.
I started working for the Montgomery Water Works as a regular utility worker. Some of my duties were making sure the water treatment plant was clean and well maintained. Including things like cutting grass, cleaning around pumps, dredging around the water intake, preventative maintenance on all machines, cleaning out water basins with a fire hose and much more. Within my first year of employment I was able to study and pass a grade 2 water treatment exam through ADEM, and passed the test and got my class A CDL. Which is not very common among the employees. When I pasted the water exam I was promoted to Certified Utility worker now I have responsibilities such as testing raw, treated, and effluent water for things like Chlorine, Phosphate, iron, manganese, fluoride, and more. Other than that I climb water towers for maintenance and inspections, work on and troubleshoot problems with equipment, and do anything else that needs to be done. I am in no way scared of work no matter the circumstance, I have worked a long some very knowledgeable people and have learned a lot and continue to learn more every day.
