• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems in industrial settings.
• Perform calibrations, testing, and inspections on process control instruments, sensors, transmitters, and PLC systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings for system installations and modifications.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation failures to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Work with 480V, 277V, 120V, and low-voltage control circuits, including wiring, terminations, and conduit installation.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Utilize CMMS systems for work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation of repairs and calibrations.
Responsible for transporting, organizing, and managing materials. This includes loading and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and making sure of timely delivery of materials to the correct departments. I use equipment like forklifts and forktrucks and often collaborate with team members.
