Summary

I am a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician and have experience providing patient care and maintaining patient stability for the duration of transport to the hospital and through the transfer of care at said facility. I have experience acting as AIC on emergency scenes and using judgement to determine transport nature, disposition, and destination facility. I also have experience driving emergency traffic as well as driving transport to facilities. Furthermore, I have experience driving and operating fire apparatus. I am trained in basic pump ops including hooking up to hydrants, deploying attack lines, and deploying the deck gun on multiple different engines. I am also familiar with SCBA systems and how to properly done equipment, get myself under air, and then shut off and remove said respirator. Outside of emergency services, I have experience working as a Wellness Coach at the YMCA. There, I was called upon to maintain equipment, keep it clean, and instruct customers on its proper operation. I was also tasked with helping customers with their workout plans nd holding them accountable, as well as advising them on the availability and scheduling of exercise classes provided by the YMCA. My duties heavily leaned towards the customer service and public relations aspect of the job, as I was often expected to engage with all customers and show them that the Danville YMCA was a warm, welcoming environment. I was also tasked with enforcing the rules and having those who refused to abide by them removed from the building.

Hobbies

I enjoy the outdoors and feel at peace in nature. Having done varsity cross country in high school, I remain an avid runner to this day and can often be found running on bike, hiking, and mountain biking trails either solo or with local running clubs. I also enjoy hiking and will make trips to state parks and roam the trails. When I'm not running or hiking, I like to take to the water. I regularly kayak and fish off of my family's dock. As a side gig,  I move furniture, do landscaping, and shovel driveways and steps during winter months. I am a dedicated weightlifter, having lifted weights since June of 2018 under the guide of multiple locally renowned trainers and weight coaches.
