Senior R&D Engineer on an AFRL contract designing RF environment simulators.

• Responsible for PCB schematic design and board layout of various FPGA powered boards spanning RF testing, ethernet communications, and control boards.
• Start to finish design and implementation of internal software for debugging, testing, and quality assurance of RF components and RF test devices.
• RF testing of various components(attenuators, amplifiers, pin switches, and switch filters) spanning from VHF to EHF bands using spectrum analyzers and network analyzers. Using that information for generating internal documentation that is used to create client deliverables.
• Proficiency with various lab equipments; multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.

• Software design and testing of internal use automation tools in VBA and C#. Primarily electrical and lighting calculation software.
• RF link budgeting for commutation systems.
• Pricing electrical components for projects to ensure they do not go over budget.
• Error checking senior engineers work on project deliverables.
