MAJOR ACTIVITIES:

• Successfully completed a major shutdown at Qatargas North Plant.
• Successfully completed major tie-in activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring permit to work was correctly applied for an activity
• Be vigilant for identifying the hazard and take precaution measures before starting the work
• Tool box meeting daily and encourage employee's involvement in all safety rules and regulations
• Ensure the equipment & material is safe for use
• Monitor the construction activities at high elevations areas
• Ensure Third party certificate for operator, vehicle, & for all lifting tackles
• Knowledge of task risk analysis, Job safety analysis, and accident Reporting System, First Aid, occupational illnesses and emergency evacuation
• Possesses very good Decision-making skills especially on the emergency situation
• Ensure the Permit, Description of the job in the Permit, Lifting Plan, Job Safety Analysis, Method statement, and Addition certificates for Excavation, confined space, Isolation
• Checking all right personal protective equipment in particular job assignment in compliance with correct safety standards
• Ensure precaution measure in place during TIE-IN Activity in existing gas pipe lines
• Continuous monitoring the gas levels before and after the hot works been carried out
• Ensuring scaffolding is safe to use and tag been updated on time by competent person
• Ensuring critical lifting plan available during lifting activities carried out near and above existing pipelines and equipment's and to check given proper protection of existing pipelines
• Ensure using proper manual handling techniques used and no of manpower used as per weight
• Inspecting fire extinguisher and fire hydrant are in good condition

PROJECT:

• KOC OIL AND GAS MANIFOLD GROUP TRUCKLINE (MGT) in GATHERING CENTER (GC) 30, 31 NORTH KUWAIT
• IN KOC GATHERING CENTER (GC) 32, OIL AND GAS PIPELINE AND CONSTRUCTION WORKS

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure of all kinds of safety measures are applied like rigging job, scaffolding inspection etc
• Understanding all aspects of PTW (permit to work) functions including job risk assessments.
• Implementing safe system and procedures of job at work place
• Ensure waste management and controlling the waste
• Ensure the equipment & material is safe for use
• Identify the hazard in the work place and take control measures
• Monitor the construction activities at high elevations
• Tool box meeting daily,encourage employee’s involvement in all safety rules and regulations
• Checking all right personal protective equipment in particular job assignment in compliance with correct safety standards
• Investigation of all accidents, incidents/ Near misses/ spills/ Fires to find the root causes and recommends corrective actions
• Assist facilities in complying with all safety and health regulations and company guideline
• Knowledge of task risk analysis, Job safety analysis, and Accident Reporting System, First Aid, occupational illnesses and emergency evacuation
• Possesses very good Decision-making skills especially on the emergency situation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implementing the Safety, Health and Environment Management programs in the plant
• Provide necessary support to Production & Services departments in generating EHS
• Risk assessment as well Environment aspects and Impact and to evaluate the corrective & preventive measures taken by that department
• Accident and incident investigations and analysis - recording, reporting, Investigations, Corrective measures and Analysis
• Handling improvement projects related to EHS
• Responsible for carrying out emergency response and mock drills in the plant
• Other Measures aimed at improved EHS culture
• Disseminate awareness on EHS among employees across the plant and play role as internal resource person for training all categories of employees on Environment, Health, Safety including Legal, statutory, Social, Group norms and national and international norms
• Monitoring of Industrial Hygiene parameters e.g
• Chemical Exposure, Noise, Heat Stress, Indoor air Quality in various workplaces
• Ergonomic Assessments in physical stress prone areas & adequate corrective measures
• Regular Monitoring of Permit to work system in day to day activities and support operation team in the same
• Conduct periodical Safety audits, EHS committee meetings as per the schedule
• Custodian and responsible for Legal compliance pertaining to EHS
• Follow-up with all department heads for schedule Adherence of EHS annual plan
• Planning and follow-up with the operations team for the improvement of 20 STEP EHS Audit score
• Responsible for the management of the contractor EHS requirements at site
• Responsible for monitoring the periodic inspection of fire detection and protection equipment
• Responsible for periodic inspection of lifting tools, tackles, scaffolding, height works tools, construction machinery and pressure vessels
• Ensuring Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS18001:2007) for sustaining management systems are in place
