*Conduct investigations into reports of abuse neglect through interviews with elder and dependant adults,along with abuser and collateral contacts.
*Responding to crisis and emergency ca;;s involving the assessment of life-threatening situations and collaboration with law enforcement, mental health and other agency representatives.
* Assessing investigation finding and potential resources in order to develop appropriate case plans that address client needs; and following-up with clients on case plan objectives.
*Maintaining case records using the Department's automated case management system.
*Facilitating mandated cross-reporting with other agencies.
*Attending training, symposiums, conferences,metting and other forms that facilitate continuous learning
*Serve as liaison to collateral agencies law enforcement,court,social services, and other concerned parties to provide crisis intervention services for crime victims and witness of crime.
*Respond to client needs and facilitate client services in the planning pf safety, crime scene cleanup,protective relocation or shelter,document replacement,property repair,funeral and burial arrangement,intervention with creditors,landlord,school and employers, and application of Victim's of Crime Compensation Program.
*Counsel victims and witness to reduce trama;provide advocacy and support to victims during interviews with law enforcement,district attorneys and defense attorneys
*Advocate and accompany victims to court in order to provide support during testimony.
*Provide information to victims and witnesses concerning the procedures of criminal justice system,juvenile system,and justice agencies.
*Maintain records to meet state, federal,and internal reporting requirements.
*Drive a county vehicle as needed to carry out services
