Trauma/Neuro ICU

At this teaching hospital, I cared for multiple trauma patients such as gun shot wounds, severe head traumas from falls , hit and runs and motor vehicle accident patients along with responding to and providing frequent emergency and life saving interventions.

Hemodialysis

I was one of two charge nurses who provided in-center treatment and care to a 21 chair out-patient dialysis clinic along with placing patient on and off dialysis treatments as well as performing assessments and continual teachings on blood pressure support, diet and overall healthcare.

Neuro ICU

As a new nurse i got the opportunity to care for patients that required cardiac management such as pre and post cardiac catheterizations, pulling sheaths, MI, CHF, ventilator management, floating to the CVICU to care for 6-12 hr post open heart surgery along with various other critical care patients.
