Supervised OT staff and OT aides in clinical areas, coaching for various
techniques/methods. Responsible for their performance appraisals.
In absence of supervisor, was an acting director of rehab for
approximately 2 months.
Responsible for screening, evaluation, treatment, and documentation of
inpatients for subacute unit, a managed care unit as well as long term
patients.
Conducted staff meetings, maintained inventory and budget of the
department, responsible for day-to-day operations, hiring and training new
therapists and aides, interdisciplinary communication etc.
Assisted level 1 and 2 OT students to complete their fieldwork
successfully.
