CLINICAL COMPLIANCE MANAGER

  • Serve as a point of contact, coordinating and collaborating with business partners to ensure compliance with regulatory and Health Plan quality of care and service requirements
  • Maintain collaborative inter-departmental and cross-departmental working relationships

In a short period of time that I have worked in Clinical Compliance:

  • Started leading the daily huddle for the entire team
  • Started an activity called “The water cooler chat” to decrease silos among the various teams of compliance and bring the team together for a fun activity twice a month as the entire team is remote
  • Participating in training new managers and analysts that started after me in the past six months
  • Assisting Associate Director of Compliance that I report to with streamlining the daily and monthly tasks for the team as well as new colleagues' orientation
  • Submitted monthly Odag reports to various Health Plans
  • Initiated a shadowing program on a quarterly cadence for those interested from other departments in Clinical Compliance role

As a WOM=N and DEI ambassador:

  • Was invited as a guest speaker on a panel for the Elevate People Leader Orientation session on a topic of “How to create a brand and a lens on executive presence”.
  • Responsible for developing content and messaging to advance DEI's mission and raise awareness about Colleague Resource Group's (CRG) activities on organization's website. This includes writing on the website.
