As of December of 2024, I will have accrued 6 years in the Army and completed my degree in Behavioral Science. My area of concentration was within anthropology, where l participated in group lead seminars while refining my qualitative research skills. This class also exposed me to cross-cultural understandings - all of which I know will be useful in this position.
My military career solidified my desire to pursue a career where I can utilize either my tech literacy or analytical skills. I possess both the analytical prowess along with the articulation skills to project my ideas. I find it necessary to utilize my creative problem solving in either providing tangible products or to take the initiative in being the active voice for my team. Overseas, I was responsible for leading a daily brief as a connecting piece for our operations department, and I always took it upon myself to be assertive as the leader of the group. Ultimately, I understand the importance of working as a cohesive unit to contribute as a part of a team.
My off time is almost exclusively used coding, learning new programs (Unity, Blender, etc), or playing chess. It is both a short and long term goal to solidify a role in the tech industry.
I trained as an intelligence analyst for 6 years with the National Guard, from 2017-2023. I learned various Secret - Top Secret level programs in which I became proficient in, while working in hectic and pressure filled environments. In 2021, I served as an intelligence analyst for the Combined Joint Task Force with the United States Army - one of the most prominent intelligence hubs in the world. In this duration, I was tasked with leading my operations team, curating products, as well as spearheading briefs daily with my enlisted peers, up to ranks such as three star generals. I am conditioned to not only work under immense pressure, but also to adapt on the fly to the required parameters of my respective officers.
