  • Breast Cancer Using Data Mining Technique, In my master's final year project, I developed a thesis on Breast Cancer using Data Mining techniques. The study was conducted using R language, Rweka, Rgraph, Rgraphics, Rstats, Rclass, Rcluster, and Rpredict libraries along with Weka software on Windows operating system. The research aimed to address Breast Cancer, which is one of the leading causes of death among women in several countries. Early detection of Breast Cancer is the most effective way to reduce its related deaths. Therefore, the study focused on developing accurate and reliable techniques for differentiating between benign and malignant breast tumors without the need for a surgical biopsy using three different algorithms, including Decision Tree, KNN algorithm, and Neural Network algorithm. The study used the Wisconsin Diagnostic Breast Cancer (WDBC) dataset to apply the three data mining algorithms to detect and predict the outcomes of Breast Cancer. The research findings provide insights on the challenges involved in predicting the results of the disease using data mining techniques, which will be useful in the biological and clinical research areas for predicting and preventing Breast Cancer.
  • TEXT DETECTION AND RECOGNITION IN CAMERA BASED IMAGES , In my first year of master's degree, I developed a mini project with a research paper on text detection and recognition in camera-based images using MATLAB and Windows software. The aim of this research was to tackle the problem of detecting and extracting text regions in natural images, which is a challenging task in computer vision research. The study compared two basic approaches to text extraction in non-document images: edge-based and connected-component-based. The algorithms were evaluated using different sets of natural images that varied along various dimensions and performance metrics were analyzed to determine the effectiveness and limitations of each approach. Based on the results, the study provided recommendations for improving the algorithms.
  • Virtual Prescription Provider , The Virtual Prescription Provider is a web-based platform and mobile application that I developed as my bachelor's final year project. It is designed to provide a convenient way for patients to schedule appointments with doctors, access their medical records, and receive prescription medications. The system is built using HTML, CSS, PHP, and a MySQL database, and I used the WAMP software to code the PHP. The platform is divided into different sections for patients, doctors, and administrators, each with their own set of functionalities. As a patient, users can register an account, search for doctors and schedule appointments online, view their medical records and lab results, and receive prescription medications through their account. Doctors and administrators can access these patient details to manage appointments, view medical history, and prescribe medications. The project also includes an Android application, which patients can use to access their accounts, view their medications and appointments, and receive notifications about upcoming appointments. This project helped me to develop my skills in web development and database management, as well as improve my understanding of healthcare systems and patient management tools.
  • Blackjack game, I designed and implemented a web-based blackjack game where users can play against the computer dealer. Players can place bets, hit, or stand, and try to reach 21 without going over. The game is interactive with animations and sound effects, making it engaging for users. I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to develop the game, and tested it on different browsers. The project helped me to improve my web development skills and understand the importance of user experience in designing a game.
